- Can I use ONLY Total Eye® 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy SPF 35 OR Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream?
- Yes, however for optimum results we recommend using both to incorporate the treatment benefits both at night while our skin is in its natural state of rest and repair and in the daytime with Total Eye® 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy SPF 35 which also provides defense against further skin damage from sun and environmental exposure.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream available in a kit/bundle?
- At this time, Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream is available as a standalone product. The following kits are available:
- Total Eye® Restore Regimen includes:
- 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy SPF 35, Concentrate, and 12 pairs of Hydrogel Treatment Eye Masks.
- Total Eye® Concentrate Kit includes:
- Concentrate and 12 pairs of Hydrogel Treatment Eye Masks.
- How much Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream should I use/how often should I use Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream?
- Use Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream twice daily in the AM and PM. Dispense half a pump to ring finger. Dot around both eyes and tap gently around entire orbital area, including eyelids and above brow. Add Total Eye® 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy SPF 35 in the AM for daily sun protection and color correction.
- In what order do I apply Total Eye® products?
- Our suggested routines are:
- In the AM:
- Apply Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream followed by Total Eye® 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy SPF 35. (Alternately, use the Concentrate under 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy SPF 35.)
- In the PM:
- Apply Concentrate followed by Firm & Repair Cream.
- 1-2 times per week or as often as desired:
- Total Eye® Concentrate OR Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream can be used before Total Eye® Hydrogel Treatment Masks. Further, after masks are removed, apply Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream to lock-in moisture.
- In what order should I apply Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream when I use other Colorescience treatment products?
- Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream should be applied after all non-color treatment products, such as Even Up® MultiCorrection Serum and/or Pep Up® Collagen Boost Face & Neck Treatment.
Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream should be applied before any treatment product containing color, such as Even Up® Clinical Pigment Perfector® SPF 50, All Calm® Clinical Redness Corrector SPF 50, and before Total Eye® 3-in-1 Renewal Therapy SPF 35.
- I use another topical eye product containing [(retinoids, peptics, other ingredients, etc)]. Can I also use Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream?
- We always recommend a skin patch test before starting a new product to ensure you don’t experience any skin reactions, especially if adding to an existing treatment regimen.
Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream was formulated without ingredients known to cause sensitivity when used in combination with Retinol and Alpha-Hydroxy / Beta-hydroxy acids. However, these ingredients alone may cause temporary skin reactions, including a slight tingling or irritation that should dissipate with minutes and get better within 3 days. If adverse reactions occur, contact your skin health professional.
- Can I use Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream instead of other topical treatments recommended by my dermatologist?
- Follow your dermatologist or skin health professional’s instructions for using Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream in place of or with other topical treatments they recommend. In general, Total Eye® is formulated to be complementary to prescription or other topical treatments.
- How long do I need to use this to see results?
- Individual results may vary. In our clinical study, participants saw improvements in dark circles, puffiness, skin laxity, crow’s feet, and dehydration as early as 4 weeks using Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream twice daily. Consistent use of sunscreen is important to prevent further skin aging from UV and HEV light.
- Can I use Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream around the mouth or any other part of the face?
- Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream® can be used around the mouth or any part of the face, however, keep in mind the ingredients were selected for optimum results specifically for the delicate eye area.
- How long will the product last?
- The product will last at least 90 days when using half a pump twice a day.
- Can I put Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream in the refrigerator?
- Yes. Our studies have shown that placing in the refrigerator has no effect on product performance. If you are using this in business or practice, please comply with standard safety practices and do not place any Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream product in a refrigerator containing food.
- Can pregnant or nursing women use Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream?
- There are no ingredients that are contraindicated for use in pregnant/nursing women. However, please consult your physician before starting any new treatment.
- Can this be used for men?
- Yes, our Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream is a hydrating formula is made for all skin types, including men.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream non-comedogenic?
- Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream has not been tested for comedogenicity as it is meant to be used on the eye area.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream gluten free?
- Yes, Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream is gluten free.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream paraben free?
- Yes, Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream is formulated without parabens. In addition, all Colorescience® products are also 100% free from phthalates, synthetic fragrance, animal testing, talc, dyes, mineral oils, drying alcohols & chemical sunscreen.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream sulfate free?
- Yes, Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream is sulfate free. In addition, all Colorescience® products are 100% free from parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, animal testing, talc, dyes, mineral oils, drying alcohols & chemical sunscreen.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream phthalate free?
- Yes, Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream is phthalate free. In addition, all Colorescience® products are 100% free from parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, animal testing, talc, dyes, mineral oils, drying alcohols & chemical sunscreen.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream oil free?
- No, Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream is not oil free. It includes Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil, which provide moisturization and hydrating properties for this formula.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream vegan?
- Yes, there are no animal products or derivatives in Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream. All Colorescience® products are 100% free from parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, animal testing, talc, dyes, mineral oils, drying alcohols & chemical sunscreen.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream fragrance-free?
- Yes, there have been no fragrances or scents added to the Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream. All Colorescience® products are 100% free from parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, animal testing, talc, dyes, mineral oils, drying alcohols & chemical sunscreen. Any scent that may be detectable is the natural scent of botanical ingredients used.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream hypoallergenic?
- There are no known allergens in Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream which has also been tested and confirmed to be hypoallergenic. Please note, however, that this product is not allergy-proof and in rare instances cause reaction in select individuals with history of allergies. In very small number of cases (less than one in one thousand), allergic reactions may be significant. If you experience such reaction, please discontinue product use and contact your physician.
- I have a sensitive eye area and have experienced irritation (milia, itching, flakiness, dryness, etc.) with other eye creams in the past. Can I use this product?
- In our clinical study conducted by Board Certified dermatologists, no subjects experienced milia or other sensitivities that caused them to discontinue using this product. Please note, however, that this product is not allergy-proof and in rare instances could cause reaction in select individuals with history of allergies. In very small number of cases (less than one in one thousand), allergic reactions may be significant. If you experience such reaction, please discontinue product use and contact your physician.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream safe for contact lens wearers?
- Yes, Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream has been ophthalmologist reviewed for irritation and sensitization and has undergone industry safety testing which deem it hypoallergenic and safe for contact lens wearers, and for use around the eye area and for sensitive eyes.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream polyethylene glycol (PEG) free?
- Yes, Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream is PEG free. All Colorescience® products are 100% free from parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, animal testing, talc, dyes, mineral oils, drying alcohols & chemical sunscreen.
- Is Total Eye® Firm & Repair Cream tested on animals/cruelty-free?
- Colorescience® does not conduct any animal testing and we are committed to the highest standards when choosing raw materials for our product formulations. We require non-animal testing statements on all raw materials before final formula approval.
