How long is the kit supposed to last for?

Cyspera Intensive System ^™ can last up to 8 weeks.

Why 3 products ?

The system is constituted of 3 products with the 1st one containing cysteamine and the 3rd one containing isobionic amide.

How often should I use it?

Intensive phase: Every day, once per day, for 15 minutes.

Maintenance phase: After 16 weeks, Cyspera Intensive System ^™ is recommended to be used twice a week once per day, for 15 minutes.

Cyspera is safe for continued, long-term use. Based on clinical setting observations, improvement continues to be seen after 16 weeks and cysteamine has been prescribed for 6 months of daily use with positive results. Once the desired results are achieved, they can be maintained with twice weekly applications of topical Cyspera. Some of the first Cyspera/Cysteamine patients are still under maintenance regimen.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

If your skin is sensitive, begin with twice-a-week 5 min application. Gradually increase frequency to every other day, and then advance to daily use or as tolerated.

If signs of irritation, discontinue use until skin irritation subsides

Can I use it everyday even in summer?

Cysteamine is not a photosensitizer. Topical Cyspera Intensive^™ can be applied regardless of the sun intensity, on any skin phototypes. In any case, the use of a high SPF sunscreen cream is recommended.

What happened if I leave the cream for more than 15 min?

A longer exposure to the cream will not give you quicker results. Cyspera best performance is expected when it's used regularly every day (15 min) with consistent application for up to 2 to 4 months.

How to Use

HOW TO USE PROTOCOL

Protocol: Short contact application of 5 to 15 minutes, once a day, either in the morning or in the evening

Cyspera Morning routine

Do not wash the skin before application: Unwashed skin has a natural hydrolipidic film which helps prevent irritation.

1. Apply 1 pump, a thin layer of Cyspera Intensive^™ and leave on for 15 minutes. The cream must be applied on full face not just the affected area.

If you have sensitive skin or if you are a cysteamine beginner, start with 5 min application for a couple of weeks and gradually increase the duration of application to 15min (without exceeding 15 min).

2. Apply 2 pumps of Cyspera Neutralize^™ directly to the skin and rinse off with water

3. Complete your routine with 1 to 2 pumps of Cyspera Boost^™ to increase the luminosity of your skin and enhance the brightening results of Cyspera Intensive^™

4. Use high SPF sunscreen

Maintain your skin hydrated during the day.

If the evening, after gentle cleansing, use Cyspera Boost^™ (avoid the use of retinol, AHA or prescription cream)

Cyspera Evening Routine

For users who have make-up on their skin or who desire to cleanse their skin prior to applying Step 1 Intensive, cleanse skin, wait at least 1 hour before applying Cyspera Intensive^™ and follow up the above steps (1 to 3).

In the next morning, use a high SPF sunscreen
